Daily Gratitude Year 7-Day 160: Today, I am grateful for connections.
I love connecting the dots between people. I can't help myself. How many degrees of separation? It is amazing what a SMALL world it is when we take the time to notice. There are moments that people connecting is purely a God wink or nudge.
A God wink reminds us He is present in the tiniest details of our lives. This amazing gift of life was not designed to be lived in isolation. We are all connected. Our brief life stories are part of a much bigger picture. We were born for a purpose. Life is a gift. Time is one of our most precious commodities.
Connecting with others throughout our lives can be life changing. Connecting with Jesus can be eternity changing.
If you are a Bible reader, you are probably familiar with the wonder of a book that never becomes dull. As old as it is, it is fresh, alive and new with each reading. In fact, the more you dig in... the more treasure you discover.
My friend, Patsy, recently described Bible study like a castle with many secret tunnels that connect. Pop into one and come out somewhere else. Today... for example... I started in Genesis 22... and then Psalm 22... and then Luke 22-23. They all relate. Fathers, sons, obedience and more.
There is history and mystery... and wonder. The Word of God is full of answers, but it will also fuel or questions. Are we on a quest to know Him better? If we are, the scriptures are a great place to start. Don't be afraid to ask God questions before you open His book. He is ready and waiting. Let his truth burn like a fire
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, -2 Timothy 3:16
Connections keep things interesting.
Today, I am grateful for connections.
