I asked him what I should give thanks for today and he said, "That I am patient." I laughed, but there is truth in the statement.
One of the sweetest parts of a love that has been long and well-seasoned is that we learn to cover "a multitude of sins" for each other.
No one is perfect, but when loved ones look past your imperfections and even learn to laugh at them, it is good. Very good.
"Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins." -1 Peter 4:8
Today, I am grateful that the Love-of -my-Life is patient.
