Daily Gratitude Year 6-Day 181: Today, I am grateful for God's perfect plan.
I should be unpacking... but this little picture could not wait. This is my great niece.
Sometimes, God's timing is hard to swallow... but it is always perfect when we wait upon His hand. This little angel is a special gift to our family. She arrived when she was needed most.
She is sunshine, giggles and a glow that comes from being loved and nurtured by two parents who adore her... and each other. Can you see it? Can you feel it?
Her parents, grandparents, and extended family can't wait to celebrate each milestone. She will celebrate her second birthday soon. How do we even begin to thank God for her?
Every child is a gift, but some come in unique packaging that reminds us to savor every minute. She is a reminder that what God does in the "waiting places"... in the hallways of our lives... is not wasted time. He grows us in the hallways so that when the door swings open, we can clearly see his will and his plan unfold.
This is what joy looks like. Can you feel the love?
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! -Psalm 27:14
We are "Families With Swords" and our God is mighty to save. His perfect plan is worth the wait.
Today, I am grateful for God's perfect plan.
