Year Six-Day 190: Today, I am grateful for the "infinitely more".
We humans like a plan. Even a loose one. It helps us put order in the day. It is so easy for best laid plans to go awry. It happens with one unexpected traffic issue, a car breaks down or an appliance that goes out.
How quickly our direction and focus can change, when some kind of life event occurs. Simple or life altering... changes are a part of life. How does it all fit in to God's plan? That, my friend is one of the ways we can see his hand in the woven tapestry of our lives.
His omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence are truly beyond our comprehension. Still, when we trust His heart and his hand, we see Him move in unexpected and glorious ways.
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. -Ephesians 3:20-21
Plans are great, but His plan is greater. Learning to trust His hand in the plot twists is part of building a great relationship. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us for the journey.
Today, I am grateful for the "infinitely more".
