Year Six-Day 189: Today, I am grateful for the Murphy Bed.
Because the best part of having a home is being able to invite guests to stay, a Murphy Bed is a fun solution.
We do not currently have one of these, but we Randy had one in an old apartment. They are the coolest thing. It is a great way to use a space in two ways. A living space by day, quickly becomes a place to sleep.
With the popularity of tiny homes and vacations homes, it is no wonder that the Murphy Bed is making a bit of a comeback. From a DIY project to the purchase of high end options, there is something for everyone.
The one in this picture is a wall unit in a basement. Think how many times this might come in handy. Easy to freshen and make ready for the next guests... it says. "Welcome to our home. We were hoping you might stay."
Hospitality is a lovely fruit. Murphy beds make it easy.
"Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:13
