Daily Gratitude Year 7-Day 216: Today, I am grateful for the places Satan won't linger. What are the places Satan won't linger? He is such a pain. He constantly tries to breathe trials, fear, disorder, corruption and confusion into our days. He loves it when we make poor choices and are miserable. Do you think Satan finds joy annoying... especially joy from those who choose to praise God in the valleys of life? Another reason to choose joy.
When we pray and offer praise, Satan doesn't typically stick around. I imagine it is like nails on a chalkboard for him. He doesn't typically waste his time on those whose attention is fixed on Jesus.

I can't take credit for today's verse. I went to grab the verse of my choice and Jeremiah 33:2-3 was my "Verse of the Day". It was perfect.

Linger in the sweet knowledge prayer and praise are our defensive shields. They are simple acts... but they are game changers. They are not something "to do"... they are ways to live.
Today, I am grateful for the places Satan won't linger.
