Milk & Honey Oatmeal Soap

Daily Gratitude Year 8- Day 43: Today, I am grateful for milk and honey oatmeal soap.

This is one of my favorite ways to start the day. I have some "Spinster Sisters" oatmeal soap that I purchase at Lulu's here on our little village's main street. It is absolutely one of those items that is not "necessary", but it is wonderful. 

I have sensitive skin. Combined that with winter dryness, there are days the itching can drive a person crazy. Oatmeal, Milk and Honey soap to the rescue. The Spinster Sisters soap has the best scent. It cleans without drying. 

There are so many verses in the Bible that refer to the promised land as being a land flowing with milk and honey. They are obviously a good combination. 

"So the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand and powerful arm, with overwhelming terror, and with miraculous signs and wonders.  He brought us to this place and gave us this land flowing with milk and honey!" -Deuteronomy 26:8-9

As the winter winds blow, there is rest and healing. There are healing soaps that delight the senses.
