It is a quirky tradition in the USA. Who lets a Groundhog dictate whether spring will come early our late? It is a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. Traditions are good, even if they are not 100% accurate.
The scriptures are, are always truthful.
This verse came to mind:
"Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow." -James 1:17
Our God never changes or casts a shifting shadow. He is always good. Seasons come and go, the the word of the Lord lasts forever.
Today, I am grateful Punxatawny Phil did not cast a shadow... so the prediction isspring will come early.
