Banners are great. They call our attention to something we deem important. They help us celebrate. They can offer direction. They can be very welcoming. They are usually colorful and appealing.
I noted these to scriptures that talk about banners:
"Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner." -Exodus 17:15
"...and let his banner over me be love." Song of Songs 2:4b
Our God covers us with His love. He celebrates our lives, our victories and our acts of worship. It is really quite special.
Today, I am grateful for banners.
