Knowledge is good. Opportunities to learn are everywhere. There is a danger in knowledge, as it leads to pride. Someone once observed that long before Adam and Eve ate forbidden fruit, pride made them question God's motives and instructions.
Pride breaks relationships faster than almost any other threat. Think about it. Many of the pitfalls that injure or wound our relationships with loved ones can be traced back to a prideful thought or act. To put others before ourselves, that is love.
"But knowledge puffs up while love builds up." -1 Corinthians 8:1
That is the good stuff. Building up another person is a form of love. Some make it easy. Others stretch us a little. Any way you slice it, love is greater than knowledge.
Today, I am grateful love is greater than knowledge.
