I have some fresh flowers on my table. They were a gift. They are absolutely gorgeous and bring a freshness to the room that only flowers can bring. They are over a week old and still look perfect. Floral Design, a local shop, has some of the best flower arrangements I have seen locally.
Fresh flowers always remind me of the verse about how the lilies do not worry or fret. They trust the creator for all they need. Sun, water, fertile soil and a place to grow.
"Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are." -Matthew 6:27-29
Part of the winter blues can be the lack of blooms in our days. Why not buy a bunch and bring them home? You can find some great deals at Kroger. Fresh flowers in winter are a special delight.
