Gratitude Year 10 - Day 58: Today, I am grateful for the God of another way.
When the problem seems big, we intellectually know that our God is bigger. A friend posted this image from "A Modern Day Ruth". I had to borrow it.
"God didn't remove the Red Sea. He parted it. God doesn't always remove your problems, but He will make a way to get through them."
It's true. He always makes a way. In time, we understand a little more of the purpose in the trial. Our "Red Sea" moments are powerful. There are moments when the only thing we can do is wait and see what God will do.
We can't hurry Him or force His hand. His ways are not our ways, but he makes a way in the wilderness and through the desert.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." -Isaiah 43:19
A new thing! Another way! Our God is not limited. He can and does make a way through every struggle and trial. When we seek his face, new ways appear and fear disappears.
Today, I am grateful for the God of another way.
