A great artist knows their medium. If they don't, they explore and get to know its properties before starting a work they hope to be a masterpiece. The medium submits to the artist's hand. The artist will test the medium's limits.
"And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.-Isaiah 64:8
I need to do a short post today. The image is from mamabeefromthehive blogspot. It is simple and beautiful. The reminder of the analogy between the potter and the clay is good for my soul.
Somedays, it is good to just relax and be the clay. Be bendable. Be moldable. Be willing to be formed into something new. Today, he might create something new in you.
Today, I am grateful the potter knows the clay.
