Year 9- Day 107: Today, I am grateful for nature's invitations.
It is always nice to be invited. As humans, our feelings get hurt when we feel left out. Invitations can be limited because of space, for fire safety... or in current times, for public health reasons. Invitations can be handmade, printed, verbal or digital. Most of us savor an invitation to celebrate.
This quote hit a sweet note today: "God is always seeking you. Every sunset, every blue sky, every ocean wave, the starry host of night. He blankets each day with the invitation, 'I am here." - Louie Giglio
Nature cannot help but reflect the majesty of God. His hand sprinkles the stars and paints the sunsets. Do we see the invitation? Do we hear His call to come closer? "Come."
This scripture reflects a God who calls us to a deeper intimacy. We were designed for relationships and close connections.
"Come, my love, let us go out to the fields and spend the night among the wildflowers."-Song of Solomon
Is it any wonder we feel close to God when surrounded by nature's invitation to see Him and know Him better.
Today, I am grateful for nature's invitations.
