Lessons From the Lillies

Year 9- Day 127: Today, I am grateful for lessons from the lilies.

Some days have joys. Others have sorrows. Some have both.

This scripture was part of the graduation ceremony at ONU today

If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! -Luke 12:27-29

His word is always perfect. It is always timely. It is hope and comfort. Why trust His word and His ways... we need only look to the lilies and other wildflowers.

Today, I am grateful for lessons from the lilies.
