I love big, thirsty, soft towels. Yes, three adjectives make the best towels. They are the perfect way to end a hot shower or soak in the tub. Why even bother with little, wimpy towels.
I am reminded of the towel Jesus used to dry his disciples feet. It must have had some size, as he wrapped it around his waist.
" So he got up from the table, took off his robe, wrapped a towel around his waist, and poured water into a basin. Then he began to wash the disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel he had around him." -John 13:4-5
The simple things that we use every day, but we would miss them if they were not around... these little items are a reason to pause and give thanks.
Today, I am grateful for soft towels.
