C.S. Lewis always makes me think. The quote reminds us that only God is our true source of happiness.
You see it all the time. Celebrity lives that are a mess. When the truth comes to surface, it is often associated with tragedy. No God, no peace; know God, know Peace.
Money cannot satisfy. Craving power is even worse. The hunger for power is insatiable it seems. Discontentment runs deep in the souls of those who reject a relationship with God. It is a true tragedy.
"I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13
Today, I am grateful God is our source.
