There is something powerful in the solitude where we wait for God. There is no specific time of day... although I am a fan of mornings. It can take place anywhere.
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. -Psalm 62:1-2
"He alone".. we can read it and say it, but do we believe it?The unshakeable fortress is quite a description. We sing his praises on the good days. What about the days that are taxing in different ways. There, too, we are to wait quietly and patiently/
Today, I am grateful for quiet moments before God.
