Year 9- Day 16: Today, I am grateful for family.
In celebrations and in times of sorrow, family is special. They help us carry our burdens, double our joys and divide our sorrows. Today, we spent time remembering together.
We will use these stones to build a memorial. In the future your children will ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ Then you can tell them, ‘They remind us that the Jordan River stopped flowing when the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant went across.’ These stones will stand as a memorial among the people of Israel forever.” -Joshua 4:5-7
We can remember with stones, with stories, with music and in so many other ways, but what really matters is being together. Family matters.
