Daily Gratitude Year Six-Day 316: Today, I am grateful for the cozy at the end of the day.This day has been a marathon and tomorrow is longer. I had to put daily gratitude off until just now. With a fresh cup of decaf coffee and a blanket... the bed is looking good. Soon. Very soon.
I need that brief time before bed when all is quiet. We are early to bed and early to rise. The hushed moments before sleep are just as special as the ones before daybreak. These are sacred times. We are are not alone. We are not lonely. We are simply quiet and content. Hygge is the Danish word.
"It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to the Most High.It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening," -Psalm 92:1-2
Proclaim your faithfulness in the evening. That is perfect for today.
