At a windchill of -14, I am grateful for every vehicle that starts. On any day, a car that runs is a blessing. At dangerous temperatures, it feels even more important.
I am reminded that Jesus taught us to pray:
"Give us this day, our daily bread." -Matthew 6:11
Our daily bread is what we need for today. Not for tomorrow or next week, but for this day. So many times I neglect to be grateful for the little blessings of the moment, until the little blessing feels like a big one.
Short post. Full heart.
Today, I am grateful for a car that starts.
