Daily Gratitude Year 7-Day 204: Today, I am grateful we can chose action. Do you think the people who create slogans for Nike are Bible readers? It struck me that there is scripture that has all the makings of a sports slogan:
Arise, for it is your task, and we are with you; be strong and do it.”-Ezra 10:4
Just do it! Don't mess around. Don't waste time. Don't make excuses. Just do it! "Be strong" rings a familiar bell, too.
There are times we are called to action. There are times we know a task needs to be completed and we procrastinate. Sometimes, getting started is the hardest part.
It is a great day to get things done.
