It seems many in my world were using paint brushes or rollers today. A paint brush is such a small, low tech tool... but it can do amazing things. The success lies in the imagination of the one who holds it in their hand.
Not everyone is feels comfortable creating pictures with paints and a brush, some stain decks and paint rooms. The mighty little paint brush is full of possibilities.
We are full of potential, too.
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10
We don't always need to have a set plan. It is more important to simply get started. Flexibility when life hands plot twists makes a world of difference. We can't always change our circumstances, but we can choose our attitudes and how we respond. In other words... we can't always choose the paints... but we get to choose the paint brush.
Today, I am grateful for the power of a paint brush.
