Daily Gratitude Year 7-Day 196: Today, I am grateful life is an original composition.
Yes! You are an original! So, am I. Even identical twins have things about them that are unique. Every day we get up and write a new stanza to our lifesong.
Everyone is going to hit some wrong notes along the way. It is how we learn what works and what doesn't. It doesn't mean we should stop or give up.
We can learn so much when we hit a wrong note... and practice is the best way to achieve excellence. Perfect moments are rare, but the more we practice, the fewer the mistakes we make. Our unique composition becomes more joyful and confidence grows on the journey.
"Everyone hits a couple of wrong notes. Keep playing your song." -Bob Goff
What happens when we hit the wrong note? We cringe, right? Some people quit. Some give up the piano because it takes to much effort to get it right. Isn't that sad? Fear of mistakes leads some to give up the music of life. That is one way of defining tragedy.
Jesus always seemed to be pausing to take in those around him with unique stories. He made the time for the intersect and changed lives as people believed and received.
He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. -Psalm 40:3
Be an original.
Today, I am grateful life is an original composition.
