Every life has rough seasons. Some are brief and other seem to go on forever. Isn't it good to know that we are never alone in our journey! Even when it feels like we are fighting an uphill battle, He keeps us from falling. He is our strength when our human strength reaches its limit.
The way the scriptures read... our Lord would prefer we put our full trust in Him from the start. He wants to be present in our trials and tribulations. He is greater than anything the world throws at us.
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 1 John 4:4
Moses overcomes his speech problems. Esther overcomes the temptation to rely on make up and finery to impress the king. Joseph overcomes the trials in Egypt and saves his family. Those are big examples of God moving in the midst of the people, but he moves in tiny... yet mighty... ways, every single day.
Prayer keeps the communication lines open.
Today, I am grateful we can be overcomers.
