A quiet heart exudes calm. It is not easily shaken. It knows that when the going gets tough... there is a Solid Rock.
"You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God." -1 Peter 3:4
There is a freedom that comes from the knowledge that all is grace. Whatever the day may bring, He is bigger that any trial or circumstance. Contentment takes root in a heart that trusts Him in all things. Big and small... He is Lord of all!
Anything beyond "enough" is a extra. His generosity abounds. We can believe and be satisfied.
Today, I am grateful for quiet hearts.
