Daily Gratitude Year 10 - Day 120: Today, I am grateful we can choose laughter over distress.
As Randy reframed the story... Clara Jo threw a shoe at work today. A shoe? Clara Jo isn't a horse. She is a dear and treasured friend after 10 years of working together.
Her shoes were not new, but she had no idea the glue in the soles had completely given up. It would be the start of a new adventure, too.
Clara Jo will soon be retiring and today was her last MJHS Grandparents Day as a staff person. The next time she comes, it will most likely be in the role of Grandma.
She had many miles to go and I am tied to my desk for most of the day... so we traded. We made a memory and we laughed and we laughed.
"He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy." -Proverbs 15:13
Today, I am grateful we can choose laughter over distress.
