Sometimes it seems like the whole world has gone mad. We are told to guard our hearts. Heart guarding is an intentional act. This verse spoke today:
"I will go before you and make the crooked places straight;" Isaiah 45:2 (MEV)
I needed this reminder. The shortest distance between two places is a straight path. When we zigzag, crisscross or wander, we take unnecessary steps.A straight line is faster and usually safer.
How many times do we make it harder than it has to be?
Today, I am grateful He makes the crooked places straight.
