There is an honesty in this quote that is humbling.
"We are too prone to engrave our trials in marble and write our blessings in sand." -Charles Spurgeon
The blessings come down as the prayers go up. There are very real moments when nothing makes sense. The struggles and the hard things are meant to work together for His glory and our good... but in the moments of hurt and pain, our eyes see imperfectly.
"Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. " -1 Corinthians 13:2
Record the blessings as passionately as the trials. He will walk with us and carry us through the tough spots.
