Daily Gratitude Year 10 - Day 78: Today, I am grateful for mind transformations.
We can't always control the situations we face; we can control how we respond. Those curve balls and life twists thrown our way can shake us. The enemy loves nothing more than for us to be discouraged.
I love the hope found in this passage:
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." -Romans 12:2
Not only can we survive the tough days, we can find a sense of renewal. I find it so easy to flunk the patience test. It is necessary to slow down. The pause is part of the process.
If we pay close enough attention, we may be able to hear His whispers.
