Daily Gratitude Year 10 - Day 127: Today, I am grateful for the power in changing a daily routine.
How often do you change something in your daily routine? We all need a little change at times. It refreshes our souls.
"Daily routine" sounds boring. Right? For many, it is the comfort of that first cup of coffee, tea or cacao. When we eat, shower and dress, it is usually performed in a similar pattern.
Humans are creatures of habit. These habits make us feel safe and comfortable, but to grow, there are times we need to allow room for change.
"You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine." -Darren Hardy
For me, daily gratitude has been a game changer. Time in God's Word is another daily habit that can change our lives and our perspectives. Making time to read for pleasure or trying a new recipe are simple ways to try something new. Little changes can produce big results.
It makes me think of Isaiah 43:19:
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
Doing a new thing can be the game changer.
Today, I am grateful for the power in changing a daily routine.
