Daily Gratitude Year 10 - Day 132: Today, I am grateful we can walk away a storyteller.
“There will be a day when all of these broken pieces will gracefully come together and you will walk away from all this a storyteller.” ―
Morgan Harper Nichols writes beautifully. She has wisdom beyond her years and writes elegantly. I love her optimism.
When you sit in the mess of brokenness, it is easy to forget that God will gracefully bring it all together for His glory and our good. And, better yet, we will have a story to tell.
Think of all the things you have seen and heard. Our life experiences impact us and they shape us. We try to pass on what we have learned to our children. We'd like them to learn from our mistakes, but most humans have to figure things out for themselves at some level.
“But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren" -Deuteronomy 4:9
Remember what you've seen. Write it down. Pass your stories on to the next generation.
Today, I am grateful we can walk away a storyteller.
